Project 52- Week 3

Continuing with the rainbow theme for Project – 52 ,  this toy is my guinea pig for week 3.

At the moment I am obsessed with playing with focussing. In the first photograph , I got the background to be a bit blurry and vice versa on the 2nd photograph.

I like the first photograph better though. What do you think ?

I think I like the second one, because I love seeing focus on the far side with blurry stuff up front.

…and I’ve have thought that I’d have picked up better photography terminology by now, but nope, not so much.

I think this is a great project, Lakshmi! I’m having fun watching it develop.

  2. Great photo! I like the first one better as well. I have a small digital camera and really need to upgrade soon. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Kellie says:

Hey L, what kind of camera and lens are you using. I like the second. How great are those colours! Some time blur can be distracting and a little hard on the eye, which is something to look out for.
ps. And the term is depth of field :)
